This little hole in the wall is a gem of an El Salvadoran restaurant. The exterior seems random, but that's because the restaurant is the backend of a liquor storefront. They were able to make us some papusas sans queso, which is nice. It took while for them to make the food, but we didn't mind. Friendly staff.

Work on customer service.
I waited over 20 minutes, no update no nothing, no sorry for the wait.
Everyone after me got their food b4 me.
I get everything is made to order but keep peoples wait in mind by being courteous, putting something a little extra in the bag, some incentive.
Not happy with customer service, didnt even try the food yet. It better be amazing -

This place is the real deal the papusas are great. Don't let the name of the place or the looks chase you away. It's some of the best of the best when it comes to great ethnic food!

Some of the best Salvadoran food I've had outside of El Salvador. Every single item we had was perfect. Pupusas are to die for, try the revuelta. Great curtido. Plantain empanadas with black bean filling are incredible, crispy on the outside and so so soft on the inside. Beans + plantain is the best marriage of salty and sweet, similar to how the acidity of the curtido cuts through the richness of the pupusa. Desayuno típico (fresh cheese, Salvadoran cream, avocado slice, bean purée, 2 eggs made to order, fried plantains) is great if you want a sampler platter. Really wish I could have tried one of their soups or their chicken sub (pan de pollo).
